LOT 849
A Victorian 1822 pattern infantry officer's sword by Caterer & Son with slender slightly curved pipe back blade, length 81.5cm, etched with crowned VR cypher, oakleaf sprays etc, brass gothic hilt with folding guard, wire bound fishskin covered grip, retaining some original gilt finish, in its leather scabbard (defective). Provenance: from the estate of the late Alistair Morris.
