A Belgian .704 Brunswick military percussion rifle by P.J. Malherbe à Liège with two groove rifled barrel, suitable for belted balls, length 76.5cm, barleycorn front sight, tangent rear sight, side mounted bayonet bar, signed border engraved backlock, full stocked with brass furniture including patchbox, butt plate tang engraved with double headed eagle surmounted by crown and numbered '545', escutcheon engraved with crown and 'JC I', with its brass hilted sword bayonet by Malherbe, numbered '967'.
