A group of twenty-four aluminium fragments, mounted on a board with applied handwritten card stating 'Hurricane 504 Sqn. Hendon. Shot down 17th September 1940. Crashed into woodland at Crundale. Sgt D. Helke killed.', together with a group of twenty-eight fragments, mounted on a board with applied handwritten cards stating 'Tennant wood, Great Chart, Kent 18.35 hrs Aircraft dived into ground being partially buried ...' and 'Messerschmitt 109. Shot down on 14th September 1940 and crashed in a wood at Great Chart near Ashford Kent. Pilot Uffz. Blazejewski Parachuted to safety ...'.
