LOT 1120
An 18th century and later oak longcase clock with Black Forest wood-plate two train movement striking on a bell, the square brass dial with matt centre, inscribed 'Webster Whitby' above a date aperture, the chapter ring with black Roman hours and Arabic minutes, cornered with foliate spandrels, the hood with moulded pediment, glazed door and turned columns, the rectangular trunk door carved in relief with a standing Native American, on a carved base, height 203.5cm, with pendulum and two cast iron pine cone weights (alterations).
