An 18th century steel and brass pocket balance scale and weights, within a fitted fruitwood case of rounded oblong form, the hinged lid pressed with three foliate motifs and geometric border, the lid interior applied with a printed paper label inscribed 'by Edmund Jenks at Ye Angell & Star in St Ans Lane Nere Aldersgate', length 12.4cm.
