A large German glass goblet, 18th century, the funnel bowl with finely engraved decoration, one side with a seated maiden holding an anchor above the inscription, 'Wenn Kommt Sie', the other side with a rococo scroll cartouche enclosing a scene of three classical figures and inscribed 'Zuch Tig Gerecht Gottsee Lig' and 'Wo Sind Sie', the rim inscribed 'Sie Fragtnach Guthen Leuthen' and 'Die Hoffnung Befrer Zeiten', on a faceted knopped stem and conical foot, height 27.5cm (rivet repaired foot).
