A Liberty & Co 'Tudric' pewter mantel timepiece, designed by Archibald Knox, model number '0609', circa 1902-1905, the circular blue/green enamelled dial with red and yellow scrolling decoration and inset coppered brass Arabic numerals, the case cast with stylized leaves and scrolling tendrils, stamped '0609 Rd. 468016' to base, the movement marked 'Lenzkirch 454594', height 20.5cm. Note: a similar timepiece is illustrated in 'Archibald Knox' by Stephen A. Martin, p.233.
