A pair of Bretby art pottery two-handled vases, early 20th century, each tapering cylindrical body painted and gilt with birds perched upon or flying above blossoming prunus branches, within moulded simulated bronze strap borders applied with Ruskin style pottery plaques to rim and foot, impressed factory marks to base, height 37cm (one cabochon plaque missing to foot).
