LOT 768
A First World War period memorial plaque, detailed 'G. E. Simpson', with the accompanying paper slip and folding card case, together with a named memorial scroll, detailed 'Pte. G. E. Simpson Canadian Reserve Bn', with the original postage tube. Note: George E. Simpson served with the Third Reserve Bn, died 4th January 1918, aged 37, and is buried in the Montreal (Mount Royal) Cemetery.
