A late 19th century ormolu mantel clock, the eight day movement with silk suspension and striking on a bell via an outside countwheel, the backplate detailed 'Brocot ... Paris', the circular enamel dial with black Roman numerals and inscribed 'Brocot Aine Paris', the case surmounted with a standing classical maiden holding a boy and fallen bird, accompanied by a seated dog, above flowers, foliate scrolls and pierced panel, height 36.5cm, with pendulum, together with a glass dome and ebonized stand.
