LOT 1110
A late 19th century Continental gilt brass carriage alarm clock with large platform escapement, striking and repeating on two gongs, the white enamel dial with black Roman numerals above subsidiary alarm and date dials, each with Arabic numerals, the glazed case with swing carrying handle above foliate scroll decorated corner columns and bun feet, the solid back panel with shuttered winding holes and inscribed 'Spät' and 'Fräh' above 'Weger' and 'Datum', the base numbered '13237', height 16.4cm (some faults and case loose).
