An early Victorian figured mahogany drop dial wall timepiece with brass four pillar single fusee movement, the false plate stamped 'S.Wilkes, Birm', the painted circular dial with black Roman numerals and inscribed 'White Star Line, Liverpool', the crossbanded octagonal surround above an ebony line inlaid bowfront apron with glazed lenticle, height 69cm, applied printed paper label to interior inscribed 'White Star Line ...', with pendulum (some restoration).
