GARDENS & ARCHITECTURE. - A.S.G. BUTLER. The Lutyens Memorial, The Architecture of Sir Edwin Lutyens… with the collaboration of George Stewart & Christopher Hussey. London: Country Life Limited, 1950. 4 vols., three folio (406 x 300mm.), one 4to (245 x 184mm.) Numerous uncoloured plates. (Light browning, title-page of vol. I with marginal tears and minor loss detached and loosely inserted, many plates replaced in facsimile.) Original cloth (extremities bumped and scuffed, spines faded, vol. II rebacked in morocco, hinges reinforced). Provenance: West Sussex County Library (library stamps and labels to endpapers and reverse of titles). - And ten other volumes relating to gardens and architecture (14).
