                CAMDEN, [William]. Camden's Britannia, Newly Translated into English: with Large Additions and Improvements. London: Edmund Gibson, printed by F. Collins for A. Swalle, 1695. Folio (382 x 234mm.) Engraved portrait frontispiece, 8 plates of coins (?only), 45 double-page engraved maps, 5 engraved folding maps, numerous illustrations and decorative initials. (Light browning and spotting, occasional minor soiling or ink marginalia, worm damage throughout affecting text and some plates, some margins affected by damp, marginal tear with loss to plate facing xci, p.162 torn with loss to text, p.654 torn with minor loss to text.) 20th century half-morocco (bumped and scuffed, endpapers replaced). Provenance: Worthing Public Library (ink stamp to reverse of title, bookplate and library labels to front endpapers).
