Wilkie, 1775. 2 vols., folio (426 x 257mm.) Engraved frontispiece to vol. I, 2 engraved double-page maps as frontispieces to vol. II, 130 engraved plates, maps and plans (11 folding). (Some browning, spotting and offsetting, marginal tear with loss to p.327 of vol. I, marginal tear without loss to p.697 of vol. I, margin reinforced to p.711 of vol. I, marginal tear with loss to p.1011 of vol. II and two abrasion holes affecting text to p.1027 of vol. II.) 20th century half-morocco (extremities lightly bumped and scuffed, endpapers replaced). Provenance: Worthing Public Library (bookplate to front pastedowns, occasional ink stamps to margins).
