A 20th century French lacquered brass carriage alarm clock with eight day movement repeating on a gong, the backplate with 'L'Epee' maker's mark, the white enamel dial with black Roman hours, Arabic minutes, subsidiary alarm dial and inscribed 'Rapport Fondee en 1900, France', the glazed case with swing handle on bracket feet, height 17.5cm.
