A mid-19th century French brown patinated bronze and ormolu mantel timepiece, the circular movement with platform escapement, the enamel dial with Roman hour numerals, the drum shaped case applied with prunus branches, supported on the back of a water buffalo wearing an ormolu saddle cloth, the rectangular base with integral stand pierced with scrolls, height 29cm, with a wood stand.
