A late 17th century rapier with double edged blade with narrow central fullers, length 91cm, shallow bowl guard, engraved with foliage and retaining padded velvet covered liner, tapering crosspiece, spiral carved walnut grip with foliate engraved steel pommel, in its steel mounted leather scabbard (leather brittle).
