A late 19th century satin birch waterfall bookcase with ebony stringing, the arched frieze back with an oval panel painted with a cherub musician and floral swags above three open shelves and two drawers, raised on square tapering legs, height 117cm, width 63cm, depth 25.5cm (some minor faults). Provenance: from the estate of the late John Young (1927-2017).
