LOT 1100
A late 19th century French ormolu and brown patinated bronze clock garniture, the clock with eight day movement striking on bell, the circular enamel dial with black Roman hours and outer Arabic minute numerals and inscribed 'Deniere FT de Bronzes a Paris', the case surmounted with a brown patinated bronze figure group of a seated classical boy and girl, the gilt bronze break bowfront base with egg and dart and foliate borders, applied with a foliate swag, on a green veined marble plinth and cast leaf scroll feet, height 45.5cm (lacking pendulum and bell), flanked by a pair of matching six-light candelabra, each with foliate scroll branches, putto column and circular plinth base, height 61cm (minor faults).
