LOT 1132
A mid/late 19th century French ormolu mantel clock, the eight day movement with silk suspension and striking on a bell via an outside countwheel, the backplate stamped with 'Japy Freres' maker's mark, the embossed foliate and scroll dial inset with enamel hour plaques with blue Roman numerals, the rococo scroll moulded balloon shaped case cast and pierced with flowers and scrolls and applied with a faun to the apron, height 30cm, with pendulum and a winding key.
