A mid-19th century oak longcase clock with eight day movement striking on a bell, the painted break arch dial with a scene of a cottage and windmill to the arch above black Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds and date dials and inscribed 'R. Carmichael Gateshead', cornered by flowers, the arched hood with glazed door and turned columns, the trunk with inlaid decoration, the arched door carved with a panel of foliate scrolls, on a plain base and bracket feet, height 212cm, with pendulum and two weights (faults).
