A mid/late 19th century French ormolu mantel clock with eight day movement striking on a bell via an outside countwheel, the enamel circular dial with black Roman numerals, the drum shaped ormolu case with acanthus surmount, flanked by a recumbent classical maiden, on a break bowfront base inset with a porcelain floral panel, raised on foliate scroll and foliate capped feet, height 26.5cm (lacking pendulum).
