LOT 1140
A late 18th/early 19th century Swedish giltwood cartel clock with brass two-train eight day movement striking on a bell, the painted circular convex dial with black Roman hour numerals and inscribed 'Hans Westman Stockholm', the case with urn and foliate scroll surmount, flanked by a pair of urns above bellflower pillars flanking a mirror back and four stop-fluted columns, the apron with carved and pierced foliate scroll and pineapple terminal, height 97cm, with pendulum (minor faults).
