An 18th century oak longcase clock with eight day movement striking on a bell, the 9-inch brass break arch dial with silvered 'Tempus Fugit' boss to arch above a silvered chapter ring with black Roman hour numerals and inscribed 'John Halifax', the hood with moulded pediment above a glazed door and turned pillars, the inlaid arched trunk door with glazed circular lenticle, on a panelled base and plinth, height 189cm, with pendulum (faults, alterations and lacking weights).
