MICHAEL, Albert D. British Oribatidae. London: printed for the Ray Society, 1884-1888. 2 vols., 8vo (220 x 149mm.) Portrait vignettes to series title-pages, 54 plates, many hand-coloured (name inscribed in ink to both front pastedowns.) Original red cloth, gilt titling to spines (bumped to extremities and to spine of vol. 1). Provenance: T.E. Gibson (bookplate to front pastedowns).
