Ellsworth Kelly - 'Blue and White', ink on paper, signed with initials to the reverse of the paper, 71cm x 55.5cm, within a stained wood frame with titled label to backing. Provenance: stock code 6699D, Arthur Tooth, London. Note: this work was almost certainly exhibited at the artist's solo exhibition at Arthur Tooth & Sons, 29th May-23rd June 1962. In the introduction to the exhibition catalogue, Lawrence Alloway lists 'Blue and White' as an example of Kelly's departure from using external references.
