LOT 1103
A mid/late 19th century French ormolu mantel clock with eight day movement, silk suspension and striking on a bell via an outside countwheel, the backplate stamped 'Lerolle Fres A Paris', the signed circular dial inset with enamel hour plaques with black Roman numerals, framing a porcelain centre with flower vignettes reserved against a blue and gilt ground, the balloon shaped case with fruit filled urn surmount, flanked by a pair of birds above pierced fret panels and rococo scroll moulded borders, height 44cm (lacking pendulum).
