A Staffordshire pearlware two-handled loving cup, circa 1869, commemorating the one hundredth year anniversary of the Duke of Wellington's birth, monochrome printed with the Duke on horseback above inscription 'Wellington', the reverse inscribed 'Maryann Connell, Woodlesford 1869' against a purple printed foliate ground, the interior applied with two frogs and a newt, height 13.2cm.
