TRAVEL JOURNAL. A journal by Miss Turner titled 'Notes and Jottings from England to China', dated 1893-1894, containing approximately 41 watercolours or pen and ink drawings with accompanying text, including Penang Waterfall, Hong Kong Harbour: 'The loveliest spot my eyes ever looked upon... Transparent green waters surrounded by hills rich in yellow, red and brown, with misty purple shadows', Chu-Ki, Hongchow Sanatorium, and The Needle Pagoda.
