A French Montereau pottery Sèvres style bronze mounted circular platter, circa 1900, painted with three cherubs in a garden setting, attempting to capture a dove, within a gilt overlaid turquoise glazed rim, the bronze mounts with chinoiserie type decoration of birds and insects amidst blossom trees, flanked by ruyi type handles, raised on Buddhistic lion and paw feet, impressed marks to base, total diameter between handles 50cm (minor restoration).
