A late 19th century brass novelty inkwell in the form of two dogs in front of a kennel, the hinged lid revealing a glass liner, raised on a circular base, width 17cm, together with an Edwardian brass ashtray with dog surmount and inset glass dish, dated 1909, width 14cm. Provenance: from the estate of the late Nellie Lenson-Smith (1928-2017).
