BINDINGS. - Alfred TENNYSON [The Works]. London: Macmillan & Co. Limited, 1892-1898. 8 vols. 8vo (177 x 118mm.) 8 frontispieces with tissue-guards. Contemporary crushed green half-morocco, by Riviere & Son, the spines in six compartments with raised bands, lettered in the second and third compartments, the others with repeating art nouveau design in gilt with calf onlays, gilt turn-ins to corners (browning to spines, occasional scuffing). Provenance: The West Horsley Place Collection.
