HORNE, Richard Hengist. Cosmo de' Medici… an Historical Tragedy and Other Poems. London, George Rivers, 1875. Fifty copies printed (noted in contemporary ink on the title-page), first edition, 8vo (216 x 134mm.) A presentation inscription from the author to the half-title, a tipped-in frontispiece. (Spotting to fore-edge, one or two finger-marks.) Near contemporary half brown morocco, gilt titling to spine, t.e.g., (minor soiling to covers). Provenance: Robert Milnes Crewe (presentation inscription 'from the author' to half-title, and bookplate to front pastedown); The West Horsley Place Collection. - And six other volumes of poetry (7).
