BINDING. - Isaak WALTON and Charles COTTON. The Complete Angler, or Contemplative Man's Recreation. London: R. Watts for Samuel Bagster in the Strand, 1815. Second Bagster edition, 8vo (241 x 146mm.) Frontispiece, 12 engraved plates, 2 engraved plates of music, and numerous woodcut illustrations, facsimiles. (Spotting to margins of the two portrait plates, occasional browning.) 20th century green morocco gilt, elaborately bordered in gilt, the spine in six compartments with raised bands, lettered in the second and third compartment the others with repeat decoration in gilt, gilt turn-ins, g.e., contained within a cloth box (some wear and fraying to corners). Provenance: The West Horsley Place Collection.
