FITZGERALD, Edward. Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam… the Astronomer-Poet of Persia. London: Bernard Quaritch, 1872. Third edition, small 4to (223 x 155mm.) (Old tape repair to title-page, some spotting.) Contemporary morocco-backed cloth, gilt tiling to spine (wear to spine ends). Provenance: Robert Milnes-Crewe (bookplate to front pastedown); The West Horsley Place Collection. - And four volumes of Victorian verse (including Edward Fitzgerald's 'Polonius', leather-bound by Zaehnsdorf, 1901, small 4to) (5).
