HEMINGWAY, Ernest. The Old Man and The Sea. New York: Scribner's & Sons, 1952. First edition, first printing, 8vo (205 x 133 mm.) (Mild toning to margins.) Original sea blue cloth with Hemingway's signature blind-stamped to upper cover, silver titling to spine (browning to spine extremities), dust-jacket (slight chipping to extremities, browning, 1 cm of loss to edge of rear panel). Note: the 'A' on the copyright page is present along with the Scribner colophon. The dust-jacket shows $3.00 with blue hue to the rear, no mention of the Nobel or Pulitzer prizes.
