Frontispiece, 9 illustrations by Henry Holiday. (Old tape repairs to inner hinges, name inscribed from 1876 to half-title.) Original pictorial cloth, g.e. (split to the spine cover on upper and lower hinges, some loss to spine ends). Note: 'Baker' for 'banker' on p.83.
