A late 19th century French lacquered brass carriage timepiece, the backplate with stamped 'Japy Frères' makers' mark, the enamel dial with Roman numerals and inscribed 'Howell James & Co. to the Queen London Paris', the gorge case with glazed panels and swing handle, height 17.2cm, with leather covered carrying case.
