LOT 1065
A late 19th century French gilt brass, champlevé enamel and onyx four glass mantel clock with eight day movement striking on a gong, the backplate with L.P. Japy & Cie maker's stamp, above a compensated mercury pendulum, the gilt circular dial with black Arabic hour numerals and polychrome enamelled centre and surround, the case surmounted with five finials above a pair of columns, all with polychrome enamel foliate decoration, on foliate moulded toupie feet, height 40.5cm, with winding key.
