An early 19th century oak longcase clock with eight day movement striking on a bell, the painted dial with rolling moon to arch above subsidiary seconds and date dials, inscribed 'Jn. Read London', the arched hood with pierced fretwork surmount above an arched trunk door on a plain base and plinth, height 208cm, with pendulum and two weights (faults).
