A Martin Brothers stoneware oil lampbase, dated June 1875, the cylindrical body relief decorated with large pale green washed leaves and small blue flowers against a textured buff ground, raised on a circular foot with pierced stylized claw detail, the rim with a pierced circular design, incised marks to base 'R W Martin London 6 1875', height 31cm, with wood stand (converted to electricity).
