Signed and dedicated by James P Chaplin ('To my dear friend Harry Raven') with a small sketch of a raven on the front-free endpaper of volume 1, 4 vols., first edition, 8vo (235 x 146mm.) Numerous illustrations, some in colour. (Mild toning.) Original blue cloth (light uniform fading, mild rubbing to extremities).
