Headline, 48 lines, rubricated, painted initials in red, elaborate initial in red and green to first leaf a2, elaborate initial in blue and red to mm8. (Missing the last section [AA8-EE8] 'Interpretationes nominonum Hebraicorum', last leaf being Y8, occasional annotation in Latin in ink to the margins, tear with small loss to cc8, minor soiling, small insect hole to z7, tipped-in blank paper cutting at end of 'Matthew', leaves shaved to upper edge). 16th century pigskin over wooden boards (dated '1545' to upper cover), elaborately blind-stamped to the covers with religious figures, five raised bands to spine (replaced endpapers, one loose blank and metal clasps dating from 18th century, one clasp missing, the other broken, wear and some loss to spine cover).
