First edition, 8vo (217 x 156mm.) Numerous plates (8 colour) all by Frank H. Mason. (Moderate spotting throughout.) Original pictorial cloth (lightly bumped to spine ends, a corner crease to lower cover). Provenance: D.M. Hissey (ink name inscribed to front pastedown). - And twenty-one more naval related volumes (including Edward J. Reed's 'Modern Ships of War', 1888, 8vo) (22).
