A German First World War period artillery sword with decorated curved single-edged fullered blade, blade length 78cm, brass stirrup hilt, langet with crossed cannons motif, wire-bound skin-covered grip, lion's head pommel (lacking scabbard), together with a similar German artillery sword with plain single-edged fullered blade, blade length 74.5cm, lion's head pommel with inset red glass eyes (lacking scabbard).
