A mid to late 19th century French ebonized mantel timepiece, the brass backplate stamped 'V.A.P Breveté... 472', the enamel dial with black Roman numerals within a foliate scroll engraved gilt metal surround, the rectangular case with plinth base and bracket feet, height 16.5cm, with pendulum and winding keys.
