A mid-19th century French brass 'Exhibition' style skeleton alarm clock, the eight day movement with silk suspension, the alarm mechanism striking on a bell mounted underneath the base, the white enamel chapter ring with Roman hour numerals and inscribed 'Bennett à Paris', framing the brass subsidiary alarm dial, the frame on an oval stand, detailed 'Ms Honorables Exp. Paris, Londres', and an ebonized oval base, height 22.5cm, with pendulum (lacking glass dome).
