LOT 1135
A mid to late 19th century French ormolu and porcelain mantel clock with eight day movement striking on a bell via an outside countwheel, the backplate with 'Japy Frères' maker's stamp and detailed 'Bertin Paris', the case with urn and festoon surmount above inset Sèvres style porcelain panels, the circular dial with Roman numerals, flower bouquet and inscribed 'Bertin à Paris' within bleu céleste and gilt borders, the other similarly bordered panels painted with flowers, seated boy and birds within cast guilloche and bead borders, on beaded foliate feet, height 47cm, with pendulum.
