A Pilkington's Royal Lancastrian pottery circular bowl, 1920-38, the matt grey glazed body decorated by Gladys Rogers, monogrammed, with a wide band of stylized foliage in blue and green, impressed, painted and incised marks to base, diameter 27.5cm. Note: an applied paper label to the base of the bowl notes this piece was included in the 'Pilkington's Royal Lancastrian Pottery Exhibition' organized by Richard Dennis, 1980, as number 456.
